Getting married in France ? Maybe this is the opportunity to twist things a bit and surprise your guests by entering the Church the French fashion way…

Bridesmaids and groomsmen

Grandparents of the bride

Brothers and sisters of the bride and groom with their wives and husbands if applicable

Page boys and flower girls

Bride and her father

Exit order*:

Parents of the bride

Parents of the groom

* We are showing here the “full versions”, but for a less traditional wedding the procession usually includes the mother of the bride with the father of the groom, the groom and his mother, the page boys and flower girls, and the bride with her father.

The “sides”:

For the families : The bride’s family sit on the left hand side when looking at the altar. The groom’s family sits on the right hand side when looking at the altar.

For the procession: Women take men’s left arm. Walking down and up the aisle…
