Anne-Laure founded Et Voila Weddings over 13 years ago and to this day remains the primary contact for the agency’s clients, overseeing all aspects of each wedding.
She shares her time between London and the South of France, often visiting Paris on the way, for work or leisure.
Although planning flawless, exquisitely designed events is what her clients come to her for, her mission extends beyond that. For her, it's about the people: couples, their families, and their guests. Her special skill lies in crafting atmospheres that produce the desired mood for each event, and ensuring the effortless flow of each experience, seamlessly guiding guests from one celebration to the next, so they have nothing to do other than taking it all in and enjoying the moment.
A wedding is one of life's most precious moments, a rare occasion where all your loved ones come together to celebrate and create lasting memories. If this resonates with you, Anne-Laure is the best partner you could have by your side!
At the heart of our service is a deep appreciation for human connections. Moments shared with loved ones are truly the most valuable experiences in our lives. Our goal is to craft these extraordinary moments. With passion and precision, my team and I are dedicated to designing luxurious events that leave a lasting impression, creating timeless memories for you and your guests to treasure for years to come.
Through food, entertainment, décor and more, each event is designed to be an exceptional experience and an immersion into the French “art de vivre”.
We work alongside our couples to tailor each celebration to their unique style and wishes, while keeping authentic to the location and surroundings.
We leave no stone unturned and plan each event in the smallest detail to ensure a flawless production on the day.
My love for planning and coordination began at University, where I enrolled to be part of the students union and got involved in all fun(d) raising and students events. I quickly decided I would train in events and later set up an events planning agency.
In 2008 I moved from Paris to London to get a foot in the door in the events industry. I got my first job with the highly renowned Julian Posner at Banana Split where I followed his team on a few London and South of France special events. I then moved to work for Louis Vuitton in London, coordinating all client events (lunches, openings, collection launches, special curated museum tours,…) before joining the NGO Amnesty International, providing me with a different experience of events, planning a 400 attendees symposium in the Netherlands for representatives from each of the NGOs voluntary workers offices worldwide.
In 2011, I launched Et Voila Weddings, a wedding planning agency specialised in weddings in France, joining both my love for my home country and the international culture of family, fete and reunion.
Anne-Laure had the pleasure to be invited to The Parisan Celebrant wedding podcast to talk about her work, her process and how she approaches each wedding she plans.
Listen to the conversation.
I am French, grew up in the north of France, spent all my summer holidays as a child and teen on the French Riviera, studied in Paris, lived in Marseille and Bordeaux, married a Frenchman from Montpellier, have all my family in the south west and my husband's family in the south east of France as well as in Corsica, and I split my working and leisure time between my homes in London and Provence… So I do quite a bit of travelling!
I love to eat. I love Paris mainly because there are so many food shops! My idea of a perfect "me time" would be strolling an art gallery while eating cake...
I “take my daughter”to see the Nutcracker at the Royal Opera House in London every year.
The sugar plum fairy and prince pas de deux is my favourite part. If you are not sure which one that is, go and listen to it full volume!
I married my windsurfing teacher. I can’t windsurf though… I guess the lessons were not really about learning the sport…
I crossed the Atlantic (twice) and took two gap years to live on boats: the first when I was 25 with my now husband, and the second in 2020 with my family.
I love the freedom of boat life (even though living on a boat is not plain sailing!), the calm, the unexpected, and the encounters. Fleeing storms with my baby girl sleeping in the cabin I like a bit less...
