Maeve & Philip got married in late spring in the Var region, near St Tropez, in a fairy tale like chateau, complete with turrets and blue shutters.
Maeve, a very feminine and romantic bride to be, was dreaming of a wedding out of a fairytale. Chateau de Robernier was the perfect fit, with its princess chateau style, its beautiful gardens, its cristal chandeliers and four poster beds. It was love at first sight.
The celebrations started with a relaxed welcome dinner in a nearby domaine overlooking vineyards. Guests enjoyed gipsy jazz, draft beer, cocktails and a seated dinner by the vines.
The wedding day started bright and sunny, but with chances of rain from the afternoon until late evening. The bride and her bridesmaids got ready all together in a salon with a team of hair and make up artists to take good care of them, and with a few champagne bottles and snacks of course.
As the ceremony time approached, the skies turned grayer and grayer until we had to decide to activate plan B. The whole ceremony set up was moved to inside and within 30 min, as guests started to arrive, everything was ready to welcome them warm and dry inside the chateau.
The décor for the day was inspired by Maeve’s favourite colour (pink), her elegant style, and the chateau features. Delicate flowers, gold touches, cristal, silk were the perfect combination for this wedding.
Dinner was held inside a beautiful clear marquee decorated with lots of fairylights. The beautiful white and gold wedding cake, decorated to match the chateau’s features, was part of the space and decor.
