Emma & Oliver chose the Bastide de Gordes for their wedding in Provence and we don't think these walls have ever seen such a stunning event!
Every detail was thought about to give their guests the most amazing experience, from the welcome stilt walkers to the cake extravaganza and a super fun disco after party, each moment of the day was curated to be special and unique.
The day started with preps in the hotel spa for guests and in the suites for the couple and their families. The whole venue was buzzing with excitement as ladies were going from room to make up and hait, getting ready for the big day.
Guests gathered at the end of the afternoon in the stunning hanging gardens of the Bastide de Gordes and were welcomed by two ethereal stilt walkers, and a glass of lavender spritz!
A magnificent Houppa was set up by the water, overlooking the Luberon hills.
Emma & Oliver's French wedding ceremony in Provence started to the sound of a strings trio playing the bride's favourite song. Their outdoor Houppa ceremony was officiated by one of their family friends.
After the glass was broken, everyone moved to the beautiful terraces of the Palace hotel to enjoy drinks and foods overlooking the sunset. During that time the couple went to take pictures at the famous view point.
After cocktail hour, guests were invited to move down to dinner in the gardens. A 48 metres long table was set up on the grass, gorgeously decorated with 12 flower arches and chandeliers. Guests found their wedding table seats thanks to a beautiful 3m long escort cards wall, with a variety of lavender designs.
As dinner ended, dancers in white wings appeared to lead the couple and their guests to a spot where the cake was brought to the light of a multitude of cold sparklers. The band then joined in to lead everyone to the dance floor in a very festive atmosphere.
A live band played for the party, with appearance of dancers in various costumes. Beautiful dessert stations were set so guests would always have something to eat as needed.
