Chloe & Mathieu chose the gorgeous Château de Sannes for their wedding in Provence and with them we created a celebration that was all together romantic, fun and fabulous!
The whole event was designed to wow their guests and to create the most amazing experience of Provence and France, from the ceremony under centenary plane trees overlooking the chateau's French gardens to the cocktail hour around the venue's gorgeous pool to the dinner under under hundreds of hanging candles and complete with magnificent florals and custom stationery items that were real art pieces.
The day started with preps at the wedding venue for the couple and their families.
Guests were collected in the nearby town of Lourmarin and brought to the wedding chateau for the celebration, which started with refreshments ahead of the ceremony.
A beautiful, circle shaped arch was set up by the chateau pond, with views on the magnificent French gardens.
The ceremony was officiated by Mathieu's sister and family members participated with readings and speeches. The couple also perpetrated a Filipino tradition as a nod to the bride's heritage with a lasso ceremony.
After ceremony, everyone moved through the chateau de Sannes gardens to the pool area to enjoy the cocktails bar and delicious food, to the sound of a guitar-singer duo.
After cocktail hour, guests were invited to move up to dinner in front of the chateau. Guests could find their table number on calligraphed floating candles, which they were invited to place into the pond to illuminate the venu at night... We loved creating this unusual dinner floor plan mixing long and round tables, creating an intimate atmosphere. The tables were arranged around a dance floor, which the band who travelled from Paris kept full before, during and after dinner!
As guests were ready to move indoor for the after party, dancers on stilts appeared to lead the way through a neon lights path.
A DJ from Lebanon got the party going until the little hours, with appearance of dancers in various costumes. Beautiful dessert stations were set so guests would always have something to eat as throughout. Before the last shuttle departures, pizzas (the groom's favourite comfort food) were served so no one would go to bed hungry!
