Chloe & Mathieu chose the gorgeous Château de Sannes for their wedding in Provence and with them we created a celebration that was all together romantic, fun and fabulous!
The whole event was designed to wow their guests and to create the most amazing experience of Provence and France, from the ceremony under centenary plane trees overlooking the chateau's French gardens to the cocktail hour around the venue's gorgeous pool to the dinner under hundreds of hanging candles and complete with magnificent florals.
Every printed detail for Chloe & Mathieu’s wedding was bespoke, crafted with exceptional attention to detail and an array of artisanal techniques, including gold foil, letterpress, embossing, and die-cutting, showcased on a variety of materials, including luxurious suede leather. Our talented designer perfectly captured the couple's vision, creating a stationery suite that was equal parts elegant, romantic, and modern. It left such an impression that several guests admitted to rethinking their outfit choices after receiving the stunning invitations, knowing they were about to attend an unforgettable celebration!
The day started with preps at the wedding venue for the couple and their families.
Guests were collected in the nearby town of Lourmarin and brought to the wedding chateau for the celebration, which started with refreshments ahead of the ceremony.
A beautiful, circle shaped arch was set up by the chateau pond, with views on the magnificent French gardens.
The ceremony was officiated by Mathieu's sister and family members participated with readings and speeches. The couple also perpetrated a Filipino tradition as a nod to the bride's heritage with a lasso ceremony.
After ceremony, everyone moved through the chateau de Sannes gardens to the pool area to enjoy the cocktails bar and delicious food, to the sound of a guitar-singer duo.
After cocktail hour, guests were invited to move up to dinner in front of the chateau. Guests could find their table number on calligraphed floating candles, which they were invited to place into the pond to illuminate the venu at night... We loved creating this unusual dinner floor plan mixing long and round tables, creating an intimate atmosphere. The tables were arranged around a dance floor, which the band who travelled from Paris kept full before, during and after dinner!
After 11 pm, the dancing moved indoors. The transition to the after-party space, just a short walk from the dinner area, became an experience in itself. Guests strolled along a glowing pathway of LED arches, dotted with fantastical stilt performers who captivated everyone and made for unforgettable photo opportunities.
At the after-party area, cozy lounge seating awaited alongside a lavish dessert buffet—a perfect way to recharge for the festivities ahead. A DJ flown in from Lebanon set the tone for an electrifying night, filling the dance floor with outrageous moves, high energy, and signature cocktails.
A DJ from Lebanon got the party going until the little hours, with appearance of dancers in various costumes. Beautiful dessert stations were set so guests would always have something to eat as throughout. With pizza being our groom’s favorite comfort food, we arranged a pizza stall near the shuttle parking area. Freshly boxed in custom-designed pizza boxes, the pizzas ensured every guest had a chance to enjoy one last bite before heading to bed, so no one went to sleep hungry.
