Today we are sharing with you one of our 2017 weddings in the South West.
K&S got married earlier this year in St Emilion, where they got engaged. The couple had fallen in love with the South West, and Saint-Emilion is indeed an absolutely gorgeous little town, full of history and character, nested in acres and acres of vineyards. St Emilion produces some of the very best French wines too!
For their destination wedding in France the couple was looking for a beautiful venue with vineyards of course, something elegant yet not too grand. For them we sourced a beautiful wine producing estate, arranged around a stunning chateau with a typical south west architecture.
Their religious wedding ceremony in France took place in the town Church, and was celebrated by the groom’s uncle who is a Priest in the UK. The bride loves baby’s breath and all the florals of the wedding were made with baby’s breath only. The Church was beautifully decorated with large, perfect bowls of the airy white flowers placed all along the aisle and by the bride and groom.
After the wedding ceremony the guests were taken to the nearby venue with the local touristic train, which was a lot of fun for everyone!
The cocktails were served in the barrels room of the chateau, and followed by a seated wedding dinner in the large cellar. The couple and their guests had dinner under the thousands of fairy lights we set up for the occasion!
