We feel so lucky to have been part of HH&I’s wedding. The couple travelled from California to get married in Provence, although they had never set foot in the South of France before! The bride’s family travelled all the way from China, while the groom’s family travelled from Ukraine. Three languages for a very intimate party of 19 guests!
For them, we sourced the loveliest, prettiest, most romantic venue of all, Le Mas de la Rose. This authentic yet completely renovated provencal Mas offers the most beautiful outdoors in the area, with its own lavender field.
We kept flowers simple and used soft tones, to magnify the setting without overpowering it. We used lavender of course, mixed with some blush and soft pinks. We also incorporated some red touches as a clin d’oeil to the bride’s Chinese origins.
The ceremony was organised by the lavenders in front of a gorgeous lavender colour flower arch. Cocktails were arranged by the stunning pool. Dinners are usually planned in the restaurant of the venue, but our couple was after an intimate event and so for them we arranged a dinner on the terrace of the Mas, lit by hundreds of fairy lights and candles.
After dinner, the couple had a first dance outdoor, followed by some traditional Chinese and then Ukrainian dancing!
